Nikko Group will manage the storage of goods in a responsible manner that minimizes potential environmental and health impacts and fully considers the following: legal requirements and governmental policies, customer expectations and concerns, short and long-term benefits, costs and liabilities, and viable material and process alternatives.
This policy is enacted by Nikko Group as part of the process to inform businesses of the facts surrounding the environmental benefits of recycling waste product in a most efficient basis.
This Policy applies to all worldwide Nikko Group businesses, operations and facilities. References to inkjet and toner cartridges in this policy includes process chemicals, product component parts and packaging components.
All Nikko Group workers shall be made aware of this policy by their direct supervisors and shall be individually responsible for following the procedures set forth under this policy that may relate to the job being performed by that worker.
Nikko Group shall design evaluation procedures for all processes that fall under this policy to ensure that these processes comply. Within manufacturing processes GreenTech will consider chemical and process alternatives, and engineering controls that:
1. Minimise or eliminate employee-operating risks
2. Minimise chemical consumption and chemical waste generation.
